I cant update Multimedia audio controller from device manager. it has no driver. i dont know the model of my ?

I have downloaded the advisor from http://www.belarc.com/free_download.html andi saw in multimedia option it is written ” MPU-401 Compatible MIDI Device” is it the one i should download? if no then what is it. if yes from where i can download it?
It is probably not. The MPU-401 driver is common, and just means that your sound card (or motherboard) can connect to MIDI devices using a special cable (usually plugging into the joystick port).
The best way to determine the sound system on your computer, if you did not build it yourself, is to check the computer manufacturer’s website and look up your system’s model number. If you did not build it yourself, you will either need to figure out what make and model your motherboard is (if your sound is on-board) or what make and model your sound card is (if your sound is via an add-on card). Often these will be silkscreened in white letters on the board itself. Once you have that information you should be able to go to the maker’s website and get drivers from there.
