Pro’s and Con’s of DVR’s compared to DVD’s and VHS?
I was wondering what some of your personal opinions of DVR’s (tivo’s) are compared to VHS and DVD recorders. I am looking something to get my mother for her birthday and her DVD recorder just broke down and she has had a few over the past 2 years and they keep breaking down on her. So I am thinking about getting her a DVR to record her soap operas. Is it worth the subscription fee? Is it good for everyday recording and can it be one time programed to record her daily soaps? Are they dependable or can they frequently have technical problems?
DVRs are definitely better than DVD recorders.
No need to worry about changing discs.
