Replacement Xbox 360
Where can I find a replacement Xbox 360 hard drive grate?
So after opening my Xbox 360, I bent one of the clips on the hard drive grate (The grey plastic thing that the hard drive sits on). Now it doesn’t stay in place. Where can I get a replacement?
Oh and I bought the Xbox 360 from eBay, so unfortunately, I can’t return it. I was looking for a store I can buy from. Thanks!
Sadly, you can’t. As you can probably see on your XBox 360, the clip is attached to to plastic, but if you hard drive still clips in and functions, I wouldn’t worry about it. If it doesn’t, you’ll probably have to send it in for repair under warranty, though I’m not quite sure it’s supported under warranty. The easiest way to fix this problem is to just return the thing to the retailer you bought it from, if you still have a reciept. If you don’t, they should be able to look up your credit/debit card if you used one. They should take it back and hand you a new one, and the problem is solved.
