Phone Answering Machine Caller Id
Is there a device you can hook up to your home phone that requires the caller to enter a pin # to ring you ?
I remember seeing an add in a security catalog quite a few years back for an answering machine type device that required callers to enter a pin # that you supplied them with to ring your phone. If they did not enter a # or entered a incorrect pin # the call was sent to an answering machine without ringing your phone. It did not require caller id or any other service offered by the phone company. Does anyone know the name of this device or a company that offers it or how to contact them ?
