laptop having sound issues?
My son was gave a Dell Inspiron 1000 laptop! He has even called Dell for the disks for the laptop.Still there is 2 yellow question marks beside the Multimedia Audio controller and the Video controller ( VGA compatible) with the ! on the question marks.We have done everything. The people that gave my son this laptop said they never could hear anything other than the computer sounds.When you go look to see what kind these are there is nothing.Says that it is unknown and Not available. We have done everything uninstall/reinstall we have done it all any help is really appreciated. Everything else seems to be working. Please help!
Had the same problem but the sound worked ok when I plugged an ear phone jack into it, just had to use ear phones.
