Laptop Fan Noise

A light buzzing noise coming out of the laptop fan exhaust?
is this processor noise or is this a defect? it is coming out of the laptop fan exhaust on the side. This is a new gateway laptop less than 1 week old, should i take it back?
it will simply be a small bit of dust in the fan. if you notice a difference in the heat coming of the laptop, then take it back immediately. they should fix it for free if its within the guarantee which is usually at least a year.
